Suggested Rifles & Calibers:
Opinions always vary but we recommend 30-06, 300 Win Mag and .375, which are good all rounder's for plains game.
For your Big Five hunting the permitted minimum requirement by law is a .375. Larger calibres are advised
It is important to familiarize your self with your rifle and be comfortable shooting it form various positions, standing, kneeing or from sticks.
Ammunition: 60 rounds per caliber should be adequate, for the various animals you wish to hunt. Semi Automatic rifles are not allowed in South Africa.
